Amongst other Drift Teams, Team Aero-K stood out like a soar thumb the weekend of February 15th-17th in South Florida. Pro D1 Street Legal driver and President/Owner of Driving Sports Japan, Kiyoshi Kawabata along with Stephen Hemsley, operator of Skay, Ltd., an import/export company had flown over 7000 miles to come meet the Team first hand and see what Aero-K is all about. Joining forces for 2008, Driving Sports, Skay Ltd., and Aero-K Garage will be debuting exclusive hard to get parts for North Americas premiere new and exciting Motorsports- Drifting!
Companies such as; Make an Wake of Art, R.Y.O., Works9, G-Corporation, 326 Power, Supermade, Uras, along with new and unseen footage of MSC Challenge DVDs and D to D Magazines will be hitting our shores for consumers to take full advantage of top tuner products coming from Japan, thanks to Driving Sports and Skay, Ltd.
Kawabata san also had the privilege to check out our local drift scene at the Nopi Qualifier over at Moroso Motorsports Park on February 16th, 2008. Raffi from Team Aero-K agreed to share the car with Pro driver K-san whom left the audiences and spectators that were watching in awe. Aero-K has planned a trip to visit Driving Sports Japan on March 3rd, 2008 for two weeks. Finalizing the contract, Aero-K Garage is patiently waiting for their first container to arrive at our South Florida port.
